Stree 2 advance booking day 1: Maddock Films and Jio Studios jointly present the highly anticipated horror comedy film “Stree 2,” the sequel to 2018’s critically and commercially acclaimed “Stree,” gearing up for a grand release this Independence Day (15 August). Steller’s star cast ensemble with the venture are Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, and others.
Yesterday, August 10th, makers finally opened the advance booking, and over just one day, it has sold 54K tickets nationwide, and it has taken over the dominance in pre-booking.

According to the latest tracking report by Sacnilk.com, as of August 11 at 12.02 p.m. IST, the horror entertainer has sold 54643 tickets across the nation and generated an outstanding Rs 1.91 Cr (19133544) gross (without block seats), with more than 4 days to release. On the other hand, similar day scheduled to release John Abraham’s “Vedaa” has sold only 3009 tickets, which are worth Rs 8.37 Lac. The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-led film has the potential to breach all the past opening-day Hindi movie records for 2024.

Amar Kaushik directed the Hindi horror comedy film, which is slated to release on August 15th under the banners of Maddock Films and Jimo Studios. The lead characters of the sequel, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Shraddha Kapoor, and Aparshakti Khurana, are reprising their characters, alongside Sunita Rajwar and Tamannaah Bhatia (Cameo), who also teamed up with the film.
