Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency trailer release date drops: The dynamic actor, filmmaker, and member of parliament, Kangana Ranaut, directed, wrote, and acted in the much anticipated biographical political drama “Emergency,” scheduled to release on September 6 after many times being postponed. Today, August 12th, the makers dropped the trailer release date on social media, a day prior to Independence Day. The Features are the part of the venture, including Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Satish Kaushik, and others. It is gearing up to showcase the darkest chapter of Indian democracy’s post-independence history.

On Monday, the film’s lead actress, Kangana Ranaut, took to her Twitter handle and confirmed that the trailer for the film will be released on August 14th. She shared a note that read: “Witness the Darkest Times of Democratic Indian History & the lust For Power that almost burned down the Nation! #KanganaRanaut’s #EmergencyTrailer out on 14th August. The Explosive Saga of The Darkest Chapter of Indian Democracy #Emergency Unfolds In cinemas worldwide on 6th September.“
The film will showcase the darkest 21 months of Indian history, from 1975 to 1977, when prime minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency in India to rule by suspending elections and civil liberties.

The Hindi political biography was helmed, penned, and led by Kangana Ranaut, with screenplay by Ritesh Shah and backing by Kangana Ranaut and Renu Pitti.
