The pre-booking and the franchise value of the film push it to generate a vincity of ₹ 54–56 Cr net in India (including paid preview ₹ 8.5 Cr) on opening day, despite the clash against John Abraham and Sharvari-led “Vedaa” and Akshay Kumar and others featuring “Khel Khel Mein.”
With the opening day collection, it crosses the early top opening film of 2024, Fighter (₹ 24.60 Cr), with a huge lead. The sequel holds franchise significance and has received immense positive reviews from the audience and critics, as the prequel did.
