Stree 2 box office early estimate day 1 (Independence Day): The most hyped film among these Independence releases, “Stree 2,” is the sequel to 2018’s critically and commercially successful movie “Stree.” Ensemble steller star casts of the venture are Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and others. 

As per the latest news update report, the horror comedy sequel surpasses Half Century Club on Independence Day, and with this, it also overtakes all the past Hindi net opening records for 2024.

As per the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the horror comedy sequel racked a phenomenal ₹ 23.36 Cr gross after selling an incredible 8.24 lakh tickets across the country from the opening day advance booking. The pre-booking and the franchise value of the film push it to generate a vincity of ₹ 54–56 Cr net in India (including paid preview ₹ 8.5 Cr) on opening day, despite the clash against John Abraham and Sharvari-led “Vedaa” and Akshay Kumar and others featuring “Khel Khel Mein.”

With the opening day collection, it crosses the early top opening film of 2024, Fighter (₹ 24.60 Cr), with a huge lead. The sequel holds franchise significance and has received immense positive reviews from the audience and critics, as the prequel did. Now the film is brewing to breach all the early records made by the Hindi film in the first half of 2024 at the worldwide box office.
