Stree 2 global box office collection day 8: Dinesh Vijan and Jayoti Deshpande jointly backed the latest horror comedy film, “Stree 2,” a.k.a. “Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank,” which finally wrapped up its eight-days extended week, and within this span of time, the film at the worldwide box office reached the ₹ 428 Cr mark. At the domestic market, it is ruling at the box office among this Independence release, and smashed the ₹ 300 Cr barrier.
In the last 7 days, it generated ₹ 269.20 Cr net, followed by a 10.78% decline on day 8 (1st Thursday), and minted another double-digit number ₹ 18.20 Cr net, bringing the total domestic net to ₹ 308 Cr. With the massive number, the film beat 2024’s biggest-grossing Indian film, Kalki 2898 AD’s lifetime Hndi net collection of ₹ 295 Cr, and secured the top spot in the list of the top Hindi net-scorer films of 2024.
The veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh shares the reason behind this immense success: “The greatest beneficiaries – besides the producers and distributors – are undoubtedly the exhibitors, particularly those in mass-market regions and single screen theatres… They can finally breathe a sigh of relief.”

As per the past update by Maddock Films, the horror comedy sequel grossed $ 7.03 million (₹ 59 Cr) in the last 7 days, followed by 656K (₹ 5.5 Cr) gross on day 8 (1st Thursday) taking the total overseas gross collection to $7.69 million (₹ 64.5 Cr). As per the North American distributor’s latest report, it entered the humongous $4 million milestone in 8 days.

The Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor fronted horror comedy film grossed ₹ 401 Cr (India: 342 Cr; Overseas: 59 Cr), following that on day 8th, the Indian market grossed ₹ 21 Cr, and the overseas market grossed 656K (₹ 5.5 Cr) gross. After 8 days, Stree 2’s total global gross collection reached ₹ 428 Cr (India: 363 Cr; Overseas: 64.5 Cr).
