On 27th September, maker Raaj Kamal Films International dropped an Intro video, which showcased Sai Pallavi’s inaugural look as Major Mukund Varadarajan’s wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese. Major sacrificed his life for the country during a counter-terrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir; he was posthumously awarded the honorary Ashoka Chakra for his bravery on January 26, 2015, from the former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee.

The Tamil biopic action drama film was directed and written by Rajkumar Periasamy, who also penned the dialogues, and financed by Kamal Haasan, Sony Pictures International Productions, and R. Mahendran. CH Sai handled the cinematography, edited by R. Kalaivannan, music composed by legendary G V Prakash Kumar, and gearing up to release on October 31 under the banners Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India.
