According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the Koratala Siva-directed and written actioner debuted at the box office with an incredible score of Rs 82.95 Cr net in India; out of the collection, the Telugu version contributed the majority of Rs 73.25 Cr net, replaced Kalki 2898 AD’s Telugu opening day collection of Rs 65.8 Cr, and became the biggest Telugu opener film of 2024.

Devara Part 1 global box office collection day 1 grosses Rs 172 Cr, becomes the 2nd biggest opening Indian film in 2024!
According to the official Twitter handle report, Jr. NTR’s film opened with a humongous Rs 172 Cr gross at the worldwide box office. On the other hand, the reputed industry tracker Sacnilk.com reported that it holds the pride as the 2nd biggest opening Indian film in 2024, but with the collection of Rs 145 Cr, just behind Kalki 2898 AD’s Rs 177.70 Cr gross. To rack up the score, the Indian market contributed massive Rs 98 Cr gross, and the overseas market contributed Rs 47 Cr gross. The film has the potential to secure the budget amount of around Rs 200-300 Cr within the opening weekend.
According to the North American distributor Hamsini Entertainment’s report, the action entertainer generated $3.5 million+ (approximately Rs 29.30 crore) gross on its opening day in the U.S. and Canada territories.
