Vikrant Massey and Binny and Family to be honored by the Education World: The iconic films 12th Fail (2023) actor Vikrant Massey and Binny and Family (2024) actors Anjini Dhawan (debutant), Pankaj Kapur, Rajesh Kumar, Himani Shivpuri, Charu Shankar, and Naman Tripathy will be honoured at one of India’s largest educators gathering by the prestigious Education World due to their remarkable work in such uplifting movies. Education World is a platform where India’s best schools and institutes are joint hands, with 62,000+ schools as their associates and awarded rankings amongst various categories. The prestigious function will be held between 17 and 19 October 2024.

Education World’s CEO Bhavin Shah said: “Vikrant Massey with his film 12thFail has guided innumerable students and educators alike in their journeys. It’s our pleasure to honor him as the Best Inspiring Actor for such an honest and passionate portrayal.”
Alongside, he also said about the Hindi family drama film: “We would like to honor Binny And Family as the ‘Best Family Film’, having made a place for itself in the hearts of all the three generations. It sends across a very urgent and relevant message about the generation gap due to communication gap in a family, in such a heartwarming way.”

The Hindi biographical drama film was directed and co-written by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, based on Anurag Pathak’s similarly titled biography, and was backed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Yogesh Ishwar. Stars teamed up with the venture are Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankar, Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and others. Anant V Joshi narrated it, with cinematography handled by Rangarajan Ramabadran, edited by Jaskunwar Kohli & Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and music composed by Shantanu Moitra. It was released on 27th October 2023, under the banner Vinod Chopra Films.

The family drama film was helmed by Ssanjay Tripaathy, who also penned the story with Naman Tripaathy. Stars teamed up with the film are Anjini Dhawan, Pankaj Kapur, Rajesh Kumar, Himani Shivpuri, Charu Shankar, and others. Mohit Puri features as the cinematographer, and editing was handled by Sourabh Prabhudesai. It was released in the theatres on 27th September, 2024, under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures, Mahaveer Jain Films, and Waveband Production.
