According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com’s latest update, Akshay Kumar’s high-octane Hindi patriotic film Sky Force has sold 9392 tickets nationwide and grossed Rs 17.26 Lac (1725997) from 2399 numbers of shows till 22nd January, 10.02 AM IST. If we take a look at the Hindi 2D format’s key region bookings, the National Capital Region (NCR) is dominating with Rs 3.05 Lac gross from 435 shows; simultaneously, the Mumbai region grossed Rs 2.09 Lac from 254 shows, and the 3rd top-grossing region is Durgapur, with Rs 1.72 Lac (all the data are excluding block seats).

Last night, Akshay Kumar quoted Indian honorary defence minister Rajnath Singh‘s tweet about attending the special screening of ‘Sky Force” and shared a thankful note, which read: “Thank you, Sir. An absolute honour for me and the team of Skyforce that you, the CDS and the three service chiefs took out time to watch and bless our film. We’ve made it with a lot of gratitude and pride for the courage of our armed forces.“
