Don’t miss thriller CBI 5-The Brain in Hindi dubbed (2022): The 5th installment of the Malayalam mystery crime thriller CBI film series, “CBI 5: The Brain,” helmed by talented K. Madhu, with a story written by S. N. Swamy, was released on the silver screens on 1 May 2022, under the banner of Swargachithra Films. Mammootty portrayed the lead role, reprising the CBI officer role of Sethurama Iyer, alongside Mukesh, Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar, and Renji Panicker, who played the supporting roles. Following the successful box office run, it’s now streaming on OTT giant Netflix.

The plot of the engaging tale revolves around a baffling case called the “Basket Killing,” which took place in October 2012, when Home Minister of Kerala State Abdul Samad died en route to Nedumbassery from Delhi. How Sethurama Iyer and his CBI team take on the case and uncover a web of deception and political engagement loaded with turns and twists of this serial killing will be showcased through the film.
Following the mixed-to-positive reviews in the theatres, it started streaming on Netflix with a duration of 162 minutes (2 hours and 42 minutes), including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
