Awarapan 2 Global Box Office Collection Day 3: Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani’s latest delivery, “Awarapan 2,” a sequel to the 2007 cult classic film “Awarapan,” concluded its debut weekend on an outstanding note at the worldwide box office. The film began its box office journey this Friday, on August 14, 2026. Powered by the solid Independence Day holiday, the film hauled over a solid ₹80 crore net in India, and at the global box office, the Nitin Kakkar directorial film has entered the prestigious ₹100 crore club.

Awarapan 2 Opening Weekend Net Box Office Collection in India: Surpasses ₹80 Cr Mark
As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 registered a notable ₹26 crore net across 9,403 shows, which is a 22.96% decline compared to Saturday’s figure of ₹33.75 crore. Adding Sunday’s earnings to the ₹55.75 crore net amassed during the first two days, the Emraan Hashmi starrer takes the opening weekend total to ₹81.75 crore.

The report also added that Awarapan 2 has registered a remarkable ₹35.20 crore gross on day 3 (Sunday) at the worldwide box office, powered by a strong ₹31.20 crore Indian gross, and the overseas market contributed ₹4 crore ($418K).
In the initial 2 days, the Vishesh Bhatt-backed film garnered ₹74.90 crore (India: ₹66.90 crore and overseas: ₹8 crore) gross globally. With the latest Sunday addition, Awarapan 2’s worldwide total reached the century club and stands at ₹110.10 crore. Alongside the domestic performance, the film’s overseas performance has further boosted its global tally.
Despite the straight clash against Sunny Deol’s and Preity Zinta’s “Batwara 1947,” Awarapan 2’s box office dominance reflects its strong franchise value and positive word of mouth.
