Mumbai, September 7, 2026: Gurmeet Singh’s feature film directorial debut, “Mirzapur The Movie,” has officially concluded its opening weekend on a fantastic note, as the film has roared past the impressive ₹93 crore mark. Powered by the huge positive word of mouth, the Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, and Ravi Kishan starrer emerged as one of the biggest opening weekend grossing films in 2026, overtaking Awarapan 2.
Mirzapur Movie Box Office Collection Day 3: Registers 12.50% Spike
The reputed industry tracker Sacnilk reported that ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ has racked in an outstanding ₹36 crore net on day 3 (Sunday) across 11,344 domestic shows, which marked the biggest single-day figure since the crime action thriller arrived in theatres. This marked a 12.50% spike compared to the Saturday score of ₹32 crore.
The Sunday figure is mostly contributed by the original Hindi market, ₹35.75 crore in 11,185 shows, and the rest, ₹25 lakh, added by the Telugu version from 159 shows.
Mirzapur Movie Weekend Total Surpasses Awarapan 2
After concluding the 3 days of the opening weekend, at the domestic box office, the Mirzapur movie’s total figure has reached ₹93.75 crore. The 1st weekend figure marks the 4th biggest opening weekend scorer in 2026 so far, beating the 1st weekend score of Awarapan 2 (₹81.75 crore).
The Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar produced a film less than ₹6 crore away from crossing the prestigious Century milestone. All eyes are now on the crucial Monday test, and the current trend clearly indicates the Mirzapur movie could maintain its momentum with a solid double-digit net collection. If the trend continues, it’s expected to achieve the ₹100 crore milestone by day 4.
