Border 2 box office collection day 1: Sunny Deol’s epic action war film “Border 2“, helmed by Anurag Singh, after long anticipation, finally arrived on the silver screens on 23rd January, 2026, with the Republic Day weekend. As per the latest report, the film has debuted with ₹ 32.1 crore net at the Indian box office.
Notably, Border 2’s remarkable ₹ 32.10 crore net opening lands it as the biggest Hindi opening film of 2026 so far, overtaking Ikkis (₹ 6.5 crore). Moreover, the film also comfortably outperformed last year’s Republic Day weekend release, Sky Force, on a high note, as the Akshay Kumar starrer opened with ₹ 15.30 crore net.
