This healthy Friday rise indicates growing audience interest and positive reception among mass moviegoers, resulting in the domestic net total exceeding ₹13 crore.
Alongside Dhanush, Kara also features Mamitha Baiju, K. S. Ravikumar, Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Rajan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Sreeja Ravi.

Kara Box Office Collection Day 2
The Tamil heist action thriller film Kara reportedly debuted at the Indian box office with ₹6.20 crore (Tamil: 4.95 crore; Telugu: 1.25 crore). Driven by Dhanush‘s star power and remarkable positive word of mouth, the film saw a 12.10% surge compared to Thursday and minted ₹6.95 crore net in 4,181 shows.
On Friday, for raising the collection, the Tamil version leads with ₹5.85 crore net, while the Telugu version added another ₹1.10 crore to the overall collection.
The weekend trend now becomes extremely crucial for the film, and if it succeeds in maintaining the momentum, Kara is expected to conclude the extended opening weekend over ₹20 crore net.
