#Maidaan is EXCELLENT. The film is extremely well-made with technical brilliance right from frame one. Director #AmitSharma has created an immersive entertainer that has it all. Give all the awards to #AjayDevgn he is phenomenal..MUST WATCH…
The film starts off really well. Apart from the BGM, the dialogues offer peak elevation. Is there anything that Ajay Devgn can’t do???
Right from having swag…helplessness…being tough…he nails every moment smoothly. The film has strong storytelling and the plus is, that despite being based on real facts, it is entertaining.
#GajrajRao is exceptional…the way he has picked up the Bengali accent is commendable. His performance from being against the team and then the U-turn is showcased so well and is a major highlight.
The small things like the setting of each town, how #AjayDevgn travels to pick players and everything else is class apart. The way they’ve shown Kolkata is also commendable. Everything is aesthetic and at the same time, authentic too.
Barring some surplus moments in the first half, the film is perfect. First rate cinematography & razor-sharp match sequences.
#Priyamani and almost every one in the cast is perfect. Full marks to everybody for setting up a remarkable show.
The trailer does not convey what the film has. A few chartbusters in the film would’ve made the film do wonders.
Nevertheless, Highly Recommended. Do not miss it.
PS: I saw it in small theatre with only recliners with much smaller capacity. But even then the audience response was crazy. Especially to the nail biting moments in the match. Just imagine it watching it with a bigger audience. Go for it.

The story was penned by Saiwyn Quadras, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta and produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla.
