Backed by Pranay Reddy Vanga, the entertainer has an ensemble star-studded with Sumanth Prabhas, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Upendra Limaye, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Narendra Ravi, Mani Aegurla, and others. Film is boring for most of its runtime, with tiring staging, barely any plot, and an artificial short film feel. Few dialogues and comedy scenes work in both halves, along with the climax, but the rest feels very dragged. Love story portions are practically nonexistent, while the weak writing and editing make it feel like a bunch of chaotic scenes stitched together…

#Romanchakam – ‘Fun’ Clicked. ‘Romance & Thrill’ Did Not
When it was announced, the makers mentioned the film would have romance, fun and some thrill. The film indeex has all three elements, but only the fun part clicked; the other two suffered from poor writing.
The pre-interval sequence, climax, and dialogue-driven extended buddy-comedy sequences worked in the film’s favour. If you can keep your logical brain aside, the comedy blocks are most likely to make you laugh out loud at quite a few places….
#Romanchakam is a fun romantic comedy with a touch of thriller in the middle portions. More than a conventional love story, it works as a buddy comedy, with the climax being an absolute laugh riot! Dialogues and songs are good. An entertaining film that has all the ingredients to become a box office hit!

Their madness and chemistry often remind you of your own group of friends. What I particularly liked are the dialogues. They feel very natural and never overly cinematic.
The first 20 minutes feel a bit aimless, making you wonder where the film is actually heading. But once the hero lands in Chennai and the heroine arrives in Hyd, the film picks up and hardly slows down…..
