The Paradise X Review: Following weeks of unprecedented pre-release hype and record-breaking advance bookings, the natural star Nani and acclaimed director Srikanth Odela’s reunion project “The Paradise” finally premiered in overseas theatres late Wednesday night.

All of this is packed into a routine, template-driven story with politics also thrown into the mix. Only the interval feels decent, considering the low bar the film has already set. The second half is a complete mess. There are plenty of emotional moments, but nothing works….

#TheParadiseReview: Film completed in the first half itself! #Nani has done everything he can, but the film didn’t work in his favour this time. The backstory is engaging, and at least the first half was watchable because of the action blocks and songs. The interval saved it with a proper emotional action block.

However, the second half is completely clueless. Almost all the crafts have been messed up, especially the direction and editing. The film is filled with abrupt cuts, random transitions and poorly connected scenes.

#TheParadise is an exhausting watch ~ a weak screenplay from start to finish, drowned in over-the-top violence and ear-splitting music. For a film positioned as a mass entertainer, it even struggles to deliver a genuinely solid high moment. A forgettable outing from Srikanth Odela.
