Vedaa box office early estimate Day 1 (Independence Day): John Abraham and Sharvari-fronted action drama opens with not-at-all surprising score, despite poor pre-booking performance

Vedaa box office early estimate Day 1 (Independence Day): Nikkhil Advani’s directorial acton drama “Vedaa,” inspired by the true event of the society’s caste discrimination, hit theaters on August 15th, on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day. John Abraham and Sharvari played the titular roles, while Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Vidyarthi played supporting roles in the venture. Despite a poor advance booking across the country, it began its box office journey with a fair score of ₹ 6-7 Cr net in the domestic market due to walking audience on holiday. 

Vedaa box office early estimate Day 1 generates not-at-all surprising score

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Vedaa grossed ₹ 1.49 Cr from the opening day pre-booking after selling 61040, but the early estimates score ₹ 6-7 Cr net of the opening day, which is more than similar day release comedy drama “Khel Khel Mein.” It was not at all surprising due to the trailer having impressed the audience prior to the release, and now the gripping storyline offered to moviegoers is more than what the audience expected. And due to the action genre, it managed to generate a prominent score in mass belts compared to urban centers.
