Vilaayath Budha box office collection day 1: Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shammi Thilakan star in the prominent Malayalam action thriller “Vilaayath Budha“, directed by Jayan Nambiar, which arrived on the big screens yesterday, on 21st November, 2025. On the debut day, the film hauled in over Rs 1.6 Cr net in India and successfully beat the crime dark comedy thriller Pravinkoodu Shappu in terms of opening day score.

According to the latest box office update report by Sacnilk.com, Vilaayath Budha has earned Rs 1.70 Cr net on the opening day, marking the 11th top Malayalam net opening movie in 2025, just behind Mammootty’s mystery comedy thriller Dominic and the Ladies Purse (Rs 1.75 Cr).
If we look at the debut day occupancy report, Vilayath Buddha had an overall 24.08% Malayalam occupancy on Friday. The morning shows’ occupancy was 18.77%, afternoon shows’ footfall was 18.83%, followed by the evening and night shows’ footfall at 21.14% and 37.56%.
