Peddi’s story is set against the backdrop during the 1990s in Vizianagaram Village, which has no official identity. The people of this village are struggling for their basic development and opportunities because their village has no existence in the government records.
Among the villagers, Appalasoori (Jagapathi Babu), an idealist from this village, dreamt of building a railway halt for their neglected village. Despite dedicating years of relentless effort, his lifelong dream remains unsuccessful.
Peddi (Ram Charan), a powerful athlete from the Vizianagaram village whose sportsmanship is not limited to a single sport, which raises his popularity among the young sports lovers of the village. He started playing cricket-for-hire for any team willing to pay him.
Peddi fell in love with the daughter of the village sarpanch Achiyamma (Janhvi Kapoor).

Taking the mentorship from Gournaidu (Shiva Rajkumar), use his wrestling skills to fight professionally. He transforms himself from a paid player to a true sportsman and injects the soul into the story. Will his sacrifices succeed in bringing recognition for his village? Can Peedi fulfill Appalasoori’s dream?
