‘Ramayana’ Trailer Review: One of the most ancient and most enduring Indian epics, “Ramayana“, has lived in our collective imagination for generations. We have visualised through listening to stories, stage performances, television adaptations, and literature. Now, the acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari takes a bold step to bring this timeless tale to the world stage with an ambitious two-part film series.
The trailer of the Ramayana debut instalment finally arrived for Pan-Indian viewers after a massive-scale overseas premiere. The KGF actor Yash steals the show as Ravana, alongside the other key portrayals by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita ma. The first part of the film series is scheduled to release on 6 November 2026.

Yash Steals the Spotlight as Ravana
The 4.09-minute-long Ramayana trailer kicked off with a primary introduction of Yash as Ravana, whose powerful screen presence as an antagonist emerged as the key highlight of the trailer. His dominating expression and exceptional dialogue delivery suggest that his portrayal could become one of the film’s defining strengths.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi Look Impressive
Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita showcase a perfect match for the characters. The viewers can relate their imagination to these characters. Ranbir Kapoor’s character reflects wisdom, courage, and compassion; on the other hand, Sai Pallavi’s elegant and emotionally grounded performance meets the expectations.
