Bhola Shankar Movie Review: Meher Ramesh Helmed, Vedalam director and writer Siva, and Adi Narayana wrote “Bhola Shankar,” the official remake movie of 2015’s Vedalam,” which finally hit theatres today, August 11th. This is the second movie by Megastar Chiranjeevi in 2023, after the Blockbuster film Waltair Veerayya.

Bhola Shankar Movie Plot
The story revolves around taxi driver Shankar (Chiranjeevi) and his sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthy Suresh). Both the brother and sister come to The City of Joy, Kolkata, and the main reason to come to the city is Mahalakshmi’s higher education. In the meantime, Kolkata was facing a huge crisis, and many girls were kidnapped by Kolkata’s powerful gangster Alex (Tarun Arora).
Shankar helps the police with one of the kidnaps; after knowing this, Alex is now eagerly waiting to take the ravenge to Shankar. What will be the next step for Alex? Can he kill Shankar? Who is Shankar? How can Shankar save himself from Alex?
Bhola Shankar Movie Review
Director Meher Ramesh comes back after a 10-year hiatus with the mass film, and on the other hand, megastar Chiranjeevi, who always gave his full effort for every film to entertain his fans, does the same. This time, not only does he reveal his Mass avatar, but he also shows a lot of emotion, which makes the audience engage with the film.
Keerthy Suresh, in her regular performance, did nothing notable, and the stunnng Tamannaah Bhatia, who portrayed the character of Advocate Lasya and the love once of Shankar, with a short time of screen presence, did a quite good job in the film, and the other characters like Sushanth, Murali Sharma, and Sayaji Shinde were not that attractive.
Baap of Movies Review
Overall, this is decent Chiranjeevi-led action and drama, and unfortunately director Meher Ramesh’s comeback after 10 years was wasted. The other features of the film are that it offers us a decent performance, while the only thing notable is Dudley’s cinematography. This is a one-time-watch film.
