Maidaan Final Trailer Out: The national award-winning director Amit Sharma teamed up with Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, Rudranil Ghosh, and other stars to represent the challenging journey of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who predicted the golden era of Indian football and how he made it happen. The highly anticipated Hindi biographical sports drama film is set to release on April 10 this Eid.

On Tuesday, April 2, makers are unveiling the final trailer from the high-octane “Maidaan” on the special occasion of Ajay Devgn’s 55th birthday. The trailer unveils the talented football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim (Ajay Devgn), who was searching for fresh talent who was able to play in any position. On the other hand, he faces many challenges from the board members and the key antagonist, Parbhu Ghosh (Gajraj Rao), who tries to push back coach Rahim Saab in every moments.
Even in the board meeting, he was accused by the regional representative of favoring the players from other states. In the dialogue, “I thought we were here to talk about India, but we are still stuck in Bengal and Hyderabad,” the makers successfully marked in the audience’s hearts and also fueled the hype with the 2nd Trailer, followed by the football ground sequences and humiliation by the audience, giving us a clear vision of this struggling journey.

The film will be essaying the life journey of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who predicted India’s golden Period of Football from 1952–1962, and his effort to raise the national team to another level, and achieve accolades like 2 gold medals in the 1951 Asian Games and 1962 Asian Games, followed by Semi-Finalist of 1956 Summer Olympics.
Amit Sharma directed the film, Ritesh Shah penned the dialogue, side by side Siddhant Mago penned the Additional Dialogues, The story was penned by Saiwyn Quadras, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta, and produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla. Ajay Devgan portrays Syed Abdul Rahim’s character, Priyamani portrays Runa, Syed Abdul Rahim’s wife, Gajraj Rao as Parbhu Ghosh, and others. The film is set to release on Eid, 10th April, under the banners Zee Studios, Bayview Projects, and Fresh Lime Films.
