Maidaan Day 1 Advance Booking: Ajay Devgn and Priyamani led the highly-anticipated biography sports drama “Maidaan,” based on the life story of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, AKA Rahim Saab, slated to grace the worldwide cinemas on April 10th, this Eid, against Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-fronted high-octane action thriller “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
On April 3, the biopic sports overcame the censorship formalities and received U/A certification from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) and also got the approval of 181.30 min:sec [3 hours, 01 min, 30 sec] theatrical runtime.

According to the latest report by the industry tracker Sacnilk.com, until April 4 at 4.02 p.m., the Hindi film has sold 5221 tickets nationwide for the opening day, which raised Rs 9.96 Lac (995579) gross (excluding block seats). According to some business analyst reports, this Eid is going to be a hard fight at the box office. Both films are strong enough in terms of content and hype. To date, while Maidaan achieved 94.9K in audience interest on Bookmyshow, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan slid ahead with 97.8K in audience interest.
About Maidaan
The film will be essaying the life journey of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who predicted India’s golden Period of Football from 1952–1962, and his effort to raise the national team to another level, and achieve accolades like 2 gold medals in the 1951 Asian Games and 1962 Asian Games, followed by Semi-Finalist of 1956 Summer Olympics.
Amit Sharma directed the film, Ritesh Shah penned the dialogue, side by side Siddhant Mago penned the Additional Dialogues, The story was penned by Saiwyn Quadras, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta, and produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla. Ajay Devgan portrays Syed Abdul Rahim’s character, Priyamani portrays Runa, Syed Abdul Rahim’s wife, Gajraj Rao as Parbhu Ghosh, and others. The film is set to release on Eid, 10th April, under the banners Zee Studios, Bayview Projects, and Fresh Lime Films.
