Indian 2 Trailer Review: Finally, the wait is over! Lyca Productions Subaskaran presents one of the most-awaited films of the year, “Indian 2,” which was finally unveiled by the makers today at the trailer launch event in Chennai. This is a sequel to 1996’s similar title film, with stars including Kamal Haasan, Sidharth, Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, and Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others. The PAN Indian vigilante action film is all set to hit theaters on July 12.
Kamal Haasan and Siddharth Fronted Indian 2 Trailer Review: The Second War of Independence
The 2.37-minute-wide trailer starts with the characters who are complaining about the corruption of the country and who didn’t get the right job according to their skills. Even many job professionals are not getting paid what they deserve. Followed by the lead, Chitra Varadharajan (Siddharth) raised a voice against these complaints and said that, to change all these, we are even not taking a small step.
Siddharth’s character is mobilizing a youth group to devour the corruption, but for that, they need strong support from someone to fight against these issues. The person is none other than the freedom fighter Veerasekaran Senapathy, A.K.A. Indian (Kamal Haasan). Veerasekaran is back for the Second War of Independence against corrupt systems. He also assures Chitra that to conquer this war, he has to take the approach of Netaji, and Chitra has to take the Gandhian approach. In the film, Kamal Haasan is going to appear in multiple avatars.
