Vedaa opening day advance booking breakdown: Nikkhil Advani directed the much-anticipated action drama “Vedaa,” slated for its grand theatrical debut on August 15, coincidentally on the occasion of Independence Day. The stars of the film are John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in the prominent roles, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee in the supporting roles. The film will clash against Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao’s horror comedy sequel “Stree 2,” Akshay Kumar, and the other starrer comedy-drama “Khel Khel Mein.”

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, until August 13th at 5.02 p.m., Vedaa has sold 14992 tickets in the Hindi belt, worth Rs 37.67 Lac (3766581.02) gross, and the Tamil version has sold only 163 tickets, which generated Rs 11.12K (11124.880), and the total nationwide tickets sold 15155 and grossed Rs 37.78 Lac (3777705) (excluding block seats).
If we have a look at the region-wise collection, the National Capital Region (NCR) dominates the market with Rs 7.63 Lac goss, while Mumbai holds the second highest number with Rs 5.42 Lac gross. There is a high expectation that the actioner will open in the vicinity of Rs 6–7 crore net on the opening day, and following that, the contest of the film will decide how it will work.
