Chatrapathi Movie Review: Bellamkonda Sreenivasa makes his Hindi debut, portraying the character of Chatrapathi, who consoles the village and becomes their Savior. This is the official remake movie of 2005’s Prabhas, featuring Shriya Saran and the S. S. Rajamouli-helmed Same Name
An action drama Hindi movie Chatrapathi, helmed by V.V. Vinayak and penned by V. Vijayendra Prasad, is produced by Jayantilal Gada, Dhaval Gada, and Akshay Gada under the production house of Pen India Limited, and the cast ensembles are Bellamkonda Sreenivasa, Nussratt Bharuccha, Bhagyashree, and Sharad Kelkar. The movie’s duration time is 123 minutes.
The story revolves around Shiva (Sreenivas Bellamkonda), the adopted son of Parvati (Bhagyashree), and Parvati’s own son, Ashok (Karan Singha). Due to some reason, the villagiers forced Parvati and his own son, Ashok, to evacuate the village. After both of them left the village, Shiva became lonely. After he grew up, he saw the treacherous who kept the village under his control, and whoever collides with them shatters into pieces. But Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who stands in front of the offender to set the village free from the devil and evil deeds and also to find his uprooted mother and brother, explains how Shiva became Chatrapathi, which is explored in this film.
First of all, I need to mention the physique of Sreenivas Bellamkonda; his dedication to the debut Bollywood film was admirable, and the action sequences are eye-catching.
The film’s storyline and story adoption are quite outdated, and the story is predictable. This was not a perfect film for Sreenivas Bellamkonda’s Bollywood debut
