Dahaad Series Review: Finally, the crime thriller web series Dahaad released on Amazon Prime Video. The series mainly followed social issues like caste, dowry, and serial killers. The series features Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah, Sohum Shah, Vijay Varma, Manyuu Doshi, and many more. After watching this series, we realized that still those kinds of people exist who are still following regressive things, and we should be aware of these things.
Dahaad Series Plot
Dahaad Series is based on the story of senior police inspector Anjali Bhaati (Sonakshi Sinha). This police station’s name is Mandawa Police Station, which is situated in a small town in Rajasthan. Anjali Bhaati came from a backward caste; she became in charge of a case of a missing girl based on the rumor that the girl went with a Muslim man with cash and jewelry. She started the investigation under the senior supervision of Devilal Singh (Gulshan Devaiah) along with Kailash Parghi (Sohum Shah).
In a few days, when Anjali Bhaati investigated the case very deeply, she got a clue for this case: the same kind of case had already happened in many different regions of Rajasthan; the girls may be different, but their ways of missing are the same. In a few days, Anjali Bhaati got the dead body of the first missing person, from where the actual case was started. Her cause of death was taking cyanide. After that, many turns and twists will be seen in this series.
Positive Aspects
The directors of this series, Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, have done fantastic work through this series; all characters are perfectly portrayed, which really engages the viewers. This kind of movie and series are really aware of us and have given us many social movements. Overall, this is a must-watch web series on Amazon Prime Video. Sonakshi Sinha’s look in COP is impressive.
Verdict
This is a web series with many social messages, and it also superbly shows the caste system up and down. You cannot miss the strong character of Sonakshi Sinha in this series.
