DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Launched: Top-rated drone manufacturer and camera maker DJI has introduced its newest vlogging pocket camera called the Osmo Pocket 4. As an improvement over its predecessor, this camera comes with a series of updates to its camera abilities and features which make it one of the most advanced handheld pocket cameras available today.

Advanced Camera and Features
Though the Osmo Pocket 4 carries many of the same features of its older model, one major feature it comes with is a 1-inch sensor. This helps improve the camera’s dynamic range up to 14 stops.
This new sensor becomes particularly helpful when shooting in low-light conditions because it improves the quality of video footage in highlights and shadows.

A major difference in the Osmo Pocket 4 is the rotating landscape touchscreen. This innovative design allows creators to record content easily in the horizontal format, which is perfect for sharing videos on YouTube.

- A zoom button with the choices of 1x, 2x, and 4x
- A customisable shortcut button to change camera settings
Moreover, there is a newly introduced 5D analogue joystick. Users can operate the camera’s gimbal in several ways, including re-centering it with just the press of a button.

Sophisticated Tracking Abilities
The tracking system in DJI’s new product is significantly improved and called Active Track 7.0. It enables subject tracking with great accuracy. Now, it can track people, animals, and vehicles. Additionally, there is a special feature called face prioritization which makes sure that the camera focuses on particular individuals even at 4x zoom.
Gesture controls provide even more convenience. Users may:
- Lift their palms to enable or disable tracking.
- Make a peace sign gesture to start or finish recording.

Availability and Price
The new Osmo Pocket 4 will be released in territories including Europe and the United Kingdom, but it is not currently available in the United States owing to approval processes. It will be offered in various combinations, and the Essential Combo variant will cost approximately £429/€479.
It contains all basic accessories like a carrying case and a tripod mountable handle.
