#MollywoodTimes – Good one!
The second half wasn’t quite on par with the brilliant first half, perhaps because of its detailed portrayal of the harsh realities behind the film industry.
The movie feels more like a warning manual for aspiring filmmakers and actors, exposing the dirty politics and power dynamics within the industry…
#MollywoodTimes is a brutally honest take on the realities of the cinema industry, and #AbhinavSunderNayak unapologetically voices them out in his second outing.
The film is very interesting and keeps us curious throughout the first half, but it gradually strays away and loses some of its focus in the second half. It wanders a bit too much into self-realization and occasionally gets stuck in the loop of “Ente Vidhi Ente Theerumanangal Aanu.” The idea and the message are clear, but they get somewhat muddled amidst cinema politics and power plays……
#MollywoodTimes Review
A subject that beautifully reflects every filmmaker’s dream and the journey of how that dream begins. The film realistically showcases the politics, struggles, and planning that happen within the film industry, making it relatable and engaging.
The core idea is outstanding and will connect strongly with aspiring filmmakers….
#MollywoodTimes – First Half – DAMN GOOD!!
If you liked #AbhinavSundarNayak’s first work, you will love this. Based on this, I can understand why he made a movie like Mukundanunni Associates. Both movies carry similar narrative style and dark humour.
#Naslen initially was being typical Naslen until a terrific scene he shared with #SangeethPrathap towards interval. The interval point as expected was terrific…..
#MollywoodTimes – Absolute cinema!
Abhinav Sundar Nayak has delivered a film packed with confidence and clarity. The performances, the writing, the atmosphere… everything clicks.
Jakes Bejoy’s score is an experience on its own. What a combo!
