In the Indian box office, while it racked up Rs 32.76 Cr net in the last 2 days, on day 3 (1st Saturday), due to the weekend upward trend, it witnessed a fantastic 42.15% jump and minted very close to Thursday’s number, Rs 18.55 Cr net. According to the industry tracker Bollywood Hungama report, Raid 2 grossed Rs 42.82 Cr (India: 39.47 Cr; Overseas: $420K/3.35 Cr) in the last 2 days in the Indian market, followed on the 1st Saturday (day 3) by the domestic market contributing a fantastic Rs 22.35 Cr gross and the overseas market $497K/Rs 4.2 Cr gross, bringing the total 3 days worldwide gross number to Rs 69.37 Cr (India: 61.82 Cr; Overseas: $493/7.55 Cr). All eyes are on Sunday (day 4), which may help to bring the 4 days of extended weekend score to breach the Rs 90 Cr mark.
