Stree 2 box office early estimate day 5: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film scores yet another record-breaking number! 

Stree 2 box office early estimate day 5: The fifth installment film of Maddock Supernatural Universe, “Stree 2,” sustained its record-breaking run at the Indian box office after taking the ₹ 200 Cr milestone within the four-day extended weekend. Following that, on opening Monday due to the Raksha Bandhan partial holiday in many regions across the country, the horror comedy sequel was estimated in the range of ₹ 36–38 Cr net, bigger than 1st Friday.

Stree 2’s pre-release hype was immensely high due to the huge success of 2018’s Stree. Side by side, the similar franchise’s recent release, “Munjya,” also received success at the box office. After the film hit theaters, Amar Kaushik’s direction and Niren Bhatt’s story didn’t disappoint the audience at all.

As a result, the film generated an impressive ₹ 204 Cr net within 4 days, followed by the ₹ 36–38 Cr estimate on opening Monday (Raksha Bandhan), all set to bring the total collection to around ₹ 240–242 Cr. If the film attained the expected number, it would be the 4th top opening Monday net scorer film of all time, just behind Tiger 3 (₹ 58 Cr), Baahubali 2 Hindi version (₹ 40.25 Cr), and Animal (₹ 40.06 Cr).

Now all eyes are on the regular working days, starting tomorrow, which will decide Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film future. It is worth adding that, unfortunately, among these Independence releases, except Stree 2, John Abraham’s “Vedaa” and Akshay Kumar’s “Khel Khel Mein” are already out of competition and struggling to stand against the horror comedy.
