Plot: Focused on the Evil Side of Social Media
The plot revolves around Tamara, a shy goth teenager who switches schools in hopes of starting a new life. However, this hope is soon shattered as social media users start bullying her through different kinds of rumors and taunts. The bullying gets worse with every notification and fake profile Tamara sees on the internet.
This movie takes a unique stand compared to many other teen dramas since it uses the internet as the main villain.
Strong Performances Keep the Story Engaging
Daniela Martínez Caballero as Tamara is a realistic and psychologically complex character. In contrast to many other stories, here the creators show the vulnerable sides of this girl and her development process.
Tristán Maze as Xavi is another interesting character since his intentions are unclear until the end of the series. Moreover, his connection with Tamara is full of suspicion and betrayal.
The secondary characters do not make the suspense worse. On the contrary, the motives of all classmates are different, and the audience will not know who is good.
