The film’s expected opening helped it to rank as the 9th top Malayalam opening film in 2026 so far, just behind Pallichattambi (₹2.90 crore).
All eyes are now on the crucial weekend jump. Making a budget of around ₹12-15 crore, Mollywood Times needs to post strong growth during its Saturday and Sunday to build a healthy opening weekend total. A solid weekend surge would significantly boost its long-term journey.
