Mr X Tamil Movie Review: Directed and written by Manu Anand, the Tamil spy action thriller “Mr X” is an exciting film that seeks to create a fusion of global espionage thrillers and mass entertainment. With popular actors such as Arya, Sarath Kumar, and Manju Warrier starring in the movie, one is guaranteed an exciting storyline with a lot of suspense, drama, action, and twists.
Even though there are some elements that may not make much logical sense in the plot, it definitely makes for great entertainment if watched without being very serious about it.

Synopsis
Mr X centers on the imminent destruction of Tamil Nadu as a result of a nuclear threat. A group of R&AW agents is assigned the responsibility of averting this impending disaster, which turns out to be full of betrayal and other challenges.
The movie follows two agents, including Gautham, also referred to as “businessman”, and Amarun, referred to as “lone wolf”. The storyline takes us through various locations in the different parts of India and even foreign lands. The movie focuses more on how something happens rather than what happens.
Cast & Performances
Arya acts well in certain roles, particularly when it comes to the emotional and romantic genre. His characterization as a stoic spy is quite flat. However, Gautham Ram Karthik suffers from a lack of varied characterization but gives a great performance towards the end.
Manju Warrier shines with her intimidating role as the R&AW boss and dominates in the action scenes. Similarly, Sarath Kumar gives an excellent performance, making his characterization interesting with its well-crafted dialogue.
Other supporting characters such as Raiza Wilson and Athulya Ravi get very short screen space yet seem promising.
