‘The Odyssey’ Plot Breakdown
The film revolves around the legendary Greek soldier Odysseus (Matt Damon), whose journey goes back to Ithaca after the end of the Trojan War. After spending almost two decades away from his kingdom, he faces the challenges of meeting different mythical monsters and other hazardous events to bring him back to his family.
At the same time, while staying in Ithaca, Penelope (Anne Hathaway) tries to preserve her kingdom by being smart against the arrogant suitors who want to take power. Their son Telemachus (Tom Holland) was raised without his father and decides to find out the truth about this legendary figure.
